Katie Kissel, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, LMBT
Katie has over 20 years of experience in healthcare including working as a nurse in cardiac telemetry, hospice and the emergency department. After graduating from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2019, she worked as a nurse practitioner in traditional family medicine, occupational, internal medicine and transitional care management handling complex chronic diseases. Katie was finally able to realize her goal in what she believes is the best of both worlds, by providing Integrative Direct Primary Care. Katie's greatest passion is offering her patients options that integrate both conventional medicine and evidence-based alternative therapies that address not just the physical symptoms, but the social, emotional and psychological needs contributing to, exacerbating illness or preventing self-healing.
